- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated fresh parmesan cheese
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Italian herbs
Instructions
- Boil salted water in a pot, add fettuccine, and cook until al dente (about 8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté diced onion until translucent (about 3 minutes). Add minced garlic and stir until fragrant.
- Add ground beef to the skillet with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
- Lower the heat, pour in heavy cream while stirring continuously. Gradually add parmesan cheese until melted.
- Combine cooked pasta with the creamy mixture in the skillet. Gently fold in spinach until wilted.
- Serve hot with extra parmesan if desired.
