  • 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 15 oz canned tomato sauce
  • 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Roll the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs (about 1 inch in diameter) and place on a lined baking sheet.
  3. Optional: Brown the meatballs in a skillet over medium heat for about five minutes.
  4. Transfer meatballs to a slow cooker and pour tomato sauce and beef broth over them.
  5. Drizzle Worcestershire sauce on top and stir gently to coat.
  6. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until meatballs are tender.
