  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 45 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Trim excess fat from the chuck roast and season generously with salt, pepper, paprika, and cumin.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sear the roast for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
