- 2 lbs Yukon Gold potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 lb fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 4 ripe tomatoes, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Layer half of the potato slices in the baking dish and season with salt, pepper, and half of the minced garlic.
- Add a layer of tomato slices and half of the mozzarella on top of the potatoes. Repeat layering with remaining ingredients.
- In a bowl, mix heavy cream with remaining garlic, salt, and pepper; pour evenly over layered gratin.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes; uncover for the last 15 minutes until golden brown.
