Ingredients

  • Thinly sliced flank steak or sirloin
  • Egg noodles or rice noodles
  • Low-sodium soy sauce
  • Garlic cloves
  • Fresh ginger
  • Brown sugar
  • Cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Cook the chosen noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, combine sliced beef with soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and brown sugar; marinate for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté the marinated beef until browned (3-4 minutes) then remove from the pan.
  4. In the same skillet, create the sauce by adding more oil if needed and additional garlic/ginger. Mix in soy sauce combined with cornstarch dissolved in water until thickened.
