  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 lb ground sausage (spicy or mild)
  • 1 can (10 oz) Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground sausage until browned; drain excess grease.
  4. Stir in softened cream cheese until melted, then add Rotel, garlic powder, onion powder, and half of the shredded cheese until well combined.
  5. Place about one tablespoon of filling at the wide end of each triangle and roll up tightly.
  6. Arrange on a greased baking sheet with space between each roll.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Cool slightly before serving; enjoy with ranch dressing or salsa if desired.
