Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out thawed puff pastry on a floured surface; cut into strips wide enough to wrap around each mozzarella stick.
- Wrap each mozzarella stick snugly with a strip of puff pastry, leaving some openings for cheese to peek through.
- In a bowl, whisk together the egg and a splash of water to create an egg wash.
- Dip each wrapped mozzarella stick into the egg wash and then roll in seasoned breadcrumbs until fully coated.
- Place the coated sticks on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
