  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup whole milk (or low-fat milk)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat; season with salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked macaroni, sautéed beef, milk, eggs, and half of the cheese; mix well.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Top with remaining cheese and breadcrumbs.
