- Add marinated chicken thighs to the pot. Cook until browned on both sides (around 4-5 minutes per side).
- Stir in rinsed basmati rice along with enough water or broth to cover it, adding the cinnamon stick. Bring to a gentle boil.
- Reduce heat to low, cover tightly, and let simmer for about 20-25 minutes until rice is fluffy and liquid is absorbed.
