  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup raw honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil to create the marinade.
  2. Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish or zip-lock bag and pour half of the marinade over them. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes in the fridge.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Arrange marinated salmon skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet and drizzle with remaining marinade.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until salmon is cooked through but still moist.
  6. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
