Ingredients

  • 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup honey or pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup nut butter (almond or peanut)
  • 1 cup dried fruits (raisins, cranberries, apricots)
  • 1/2 cup mixed nuts and seeds (almonds, walnuts, chia seeds)
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix rolled oats, nuts, seeds, and dried fruits until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, blend honey (or maple syrup) with nut butter until smooth. Pour over the dry mixture and stir until evenly coated.
  4. Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and press firmly into an even layer.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown; let cool completely before cutting into bars.
