Description

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup whole milk (or almond milk)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

Instructions

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine eggs, milk, melted butter, vanilla extract, and maple syrup until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  5. Optionally fold in chocolate chips or chopped pecans for extra flavor.
  6. Fill muffin tins three-quarters full with batter and bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow muffins to cool for five minutes before transferring to wire racks; drizzle with additional maple syrup if desired.
