  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, mix milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon for the swirl filling.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan; sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over it. Add remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  7. Gently swirl through the batter with a knife or skewer.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
