This dish is not only aromatic but also visually appealing, making it an impressive choice for family dinners or casual gatherings. With a combination of cumin, garlic, and fresh garnishes, each bite is a flavorful journey that will leave your guests craving more.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb lamb shoulder, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 8 oz egg noodles (fresh or dried)
  • 2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, and cumin seeds with the lamb. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. While the lamb marinates, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and toss with sesame oil.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add marinated lamb in batches and sear until browned (about 5-7 minutes).
  4. Add cooked noodles to the skillet with any remaining marinade. Toss everything to coat evenly.
  5. Stir in chopped green onions just before serving for added freshness.
