- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup raw honey
- 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1 cup whole milk or heavy cream
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
Instructions
- Boil salted water in a large pot, add elbow macaroni, and cook until al dente according to package instructions.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add diced chicken seasoned with salt and pepper; cook until golden brown and no longer pink.
- Lower heat, add milk/cream, honey, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and half of the cheese. Stir until melted.
- Drain cooked pasta and add to the skillet. Fold gently until well coated.
- Sprinkle remaining cheese on top; cover briefly on low heat until melted.
