  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs), diced
  • 8 oz thinly sliced deli ham
  • 2 cups penne or fusilli pasta
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss or mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta al dente according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix diced chicken, ham, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well coated.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup and milk until smooth; stir in half of the cheese.
  5. Fold cooked pasta into the chicken mixture; pour in the creamy sauce and mix until combined.
  6. Transfer to a greased baking dish; top with remaining cheese and breadcrumbs if desired.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
