- 2 lbs Russet potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 ½ cups Gruyère cheese, shredded
- 2 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix heavy cream, minced garlic, salt, pepper, thyme, and parsley.
- Grease a baking dish and layer half of the sliced potatoes evenly. Pour half of the cream mixture over them and sprinkle with half of the Gruyère cheese.
- Repeat the layering process with remaining potatoes, cream mixture, and cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
