- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8-inch square baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together flour, oats, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Cut in softened butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Gently fold in blueberries and lemon juice into half of the crumb mixture.
- Press half of the crumb mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan. Spread blueberry mixture on top and sprinkle remaining crumbs over it.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool completely before slicing.
