Perfect for busy weeknights or special occasions, this baked salmon delivers a taste experience that’s both healthy and indulgent.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 fresh salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tsp dried dill)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the fillets, then season with salt, pepper, and minced garlic.
  4. Squeeze fresh lemon juice generously over each fillet and sprinkle with dill.
  5. For extra sweetness, drizzle honey on top if desired.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is slightly opaque.
  7. Optionally, broil on high for an additional 3-5 minutes for a golden finish.
  8. Allow to rest for a few minutes before serving with your favorite sides.
