- 1 cup thick-cut bacon, chopped

- 1/4 cup bourbon whiskey

- 2 tbsp cider vinegar

Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by washing and dicing the apples, and chopping the onions.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove excess grease if necessary.
- Add the chopped onions and diced apples to the skillet. Cook until softened (about 5-7 minutes).
- Stir in brown sugar and bourbon whiskey. Let it simmer to combine flavors.
- After about 10 minutes, add cider vinegar and salt. Continue cooking until it thickens into a jam-like consistency.
- Allow to cool slightly before transferring to jars. Store in the fridge for up to two weeks.
