Ingredients

  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your pan by lining an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, and butter. Stir continuously until melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and mix in the vanilla extract.
  4. If using pecans, fold them into the mixture until fully coated.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set. Lift out of the pan using parchment paper and cut into squares.
