  • 2 medium zucchinis, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups cooked pasta (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the chopped onion in olive oil until softened. Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional 30 seconds.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned; drain excess fat.

  5. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the meat mixture followed by cheese. Repeat layers, finishing with cheese on top.
