Description

Garlic Butter Steak Bites with Mashed Potatoes is a mouthwatering dish that perfectly balances savory steak pieces and creamy mashed potatoes. Succulent beef morsels are seared to perfection in a rich garlic butter sauce, creating an explosion of flavor in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak
  • 46 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 lbs Russet or Yukon Gold potatoes
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Peel and cut the potatoes into chunks. Boil in salted water until fork-tender (15-20 minutes). Drain and mash with heavy cream, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces. In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tbsp of butter and cook the steak in batches until browned (3-4 minutes).
  3. Reduce heat to medium-low; add remaining butter and garlic to the pan. Sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  4. Serve the steak bites alongside mashed potatoes, drizzling extra garlic butter sauce on top.
