  • 1 large Baguette (sliced diagonally)
  • 2 cups Fresh Tomatoes (diced, preferably heirloom)
  • 1 cup Fresh Basil (chopped)
  • 3 tbsp Balsamic Glaze
  • 2 Garlic Cloves (for rubbing)
  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil (extra virgin)
  • Salt and Pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the baguette diagonally into 1-inch pieces. Arrange on a baking sheet.
  3. Brush each slice lightly with olive oil and toast for about 5–7 minutes until golden brown.
  4. In a bowl, combine diced tomatoes, chopped basil, salt, pepper, and a splash of olive oil; mix well.
  5. Once toasted, rub each bread slice with a cut garlic clove.
  6. Generously top each slice with the tomato mixture.
  7. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and garnish with any remaining basil before serving.
