Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.

  3. Roll dough into balls (2 inches in diameter) and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Create an indentation in each ball using your fingers or a shot glass.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden around the edges. Allow to cool completely before removing from molds.
  5. Fill each cookie shot with eggnog or hot chocolate, top with whipped cream, and sprinkle nutmeg if desired.
