Ingredients

  • Large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • Italian or smoked sausage
  • Fresh broccoli florets
  • Minced garlic
  • Honey
  • Low-sodium soy sauce
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the shrimp by peeling and deveining if necessary. Slice the sausage into bite-sized pieces and chop the broccoli into florets.
  2. In a bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes; set aside.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook the sausage until browned on both sides (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté broccoli for 3 minutes until bright green. Add shrimp and cook until pink (about 3 minutes).
  5. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp and broccoli; stir well to coat evenly.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
