Ingredients
- Large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- Italian or smoked sausage
- Fresh broccoli florets
- Minced garlic
- Honey
- Low-sodium soy sauce
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the shrimp by peeling and deveining if necessary. Slice the sausage into bite-sized pieces and chop the broccoli into florets.
- In a bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes; set aside.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook the sausage until browned on both sides (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, sauté broccoli for 3 minutes until bright green. Add shrimp and cook until pink (about 3 minutes).
- Pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp and broccoli; stir well to coat evenly.
