  • 2 fresh salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients. Rinse salmon under cold water and pat dry. Chop broccoli into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Sauté broccoli in a skillet with 1 tbsp olive oil over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  3. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes; stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Push broccoli aside and add salmon fillets skin-side down, cooking for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  5. Drizzle soy sauce and lemon juice over both the salmon and broccoli. Cover and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until salmon flakes easily.
  6. Serve the bowl by placing salmon on top of broccoli and sprinkling sesame seeds.
