  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • 1 cup freshly shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 810 slices pepperoni
  • 2 tablespoons marinara sauce (plus extra for serving)
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
  3. On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices, and drizzle with marinara sauce. Top with another layer of mozzarella.
  4. Place the second slice of bread on top, buttered side facing out, and press gently to compact the sandwich.
