  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 4 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 cup whole milk (or almond/oat milk)
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream (for whipping)
  • Chocolate syrup for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and sugar.
  3. In another bowl, beat eggs until fluffy. Gradually add milk while mixing. Combine wet mixture with dry ingredients until just blended.
  4. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. After cooling slightly, poke holes in the cake with a fork. Mix sweetened condensed milk and evaporated milk; pour over the cake.
  6. Whip heavy cream to stiff peaks and spread over the soaked cake. Drizzle with chocolate syrup.
  7. Chill for at least one hour before serving.
