Instructions

  4. Make Custard Filling: In another bowl, mix custard powder with sugar and milk; cook over low heat until thickened.
  5. Add Chocolate Chips: Once cooled slightly, fold chocolate chips into the custard mixture.
  6. Shape Brioches: Roll dough into circles; place custard filling in each circle, fold edges over, and seal tightly.
  7. Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Let shaped brioches rise again for 30 minutes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper before baking for 20-25 minutes until golden.
